About the IAMU VR Database
IAMU VR Database was developed with the intent to address the major hurdle of limited Virtual Reality materials for Maritime Education. Although research has found VR to be an engaging and beneficial way to teach experiential based subjects, the lack of materials continues to limit it's application within education. Through our combined effort to create and share Virtual Reality materials, this wonderful platform may become a staple within Maritime Education world wide.
With this goal in mind, this project has been supported by the IAMU with the IAMU Development Project grant.

This report discusses the IAMU Organizational Development Project which created this platform. It discusses the processes which were used to create the platform. It also provides in-depth instructions on how to create a VR Training Video so that anyone can create and share their own VR maritime learning materials here in this database.
